If your health suddenly worsens while traveling and treatment is required at a local clinic, we will cover the costs of examinations, tests, and doctor consultations.
Baggage and Ticket Insurance

Baggage insurance
When purchasing travel insurance, if you also insure your baggage, we will cover the loss or damage.
Please note that baggage is insured only within the airport premises. To insure your baggage, it must be registered as separate checked luggage. If registered baggage is damaged or lost at the airport, you must contact the airline within 24 hours, request the relevant document, and submit it to us for reimbursement.

At a provider clinic, you will receive services with co-payment.
At a non-provider clinic, you pay in full and can be reimbursed within 1 month after your return.
Which clinics can I receive services at abroad?
You can receive services at both provider and non-provider clinics. After contacting the hotline, the operator will provide you with information about provider clinics in your area, where you can receive services with co-payment. At non-provider clinics, you pay in full and can be reimbursed after returning to Georgia.
How can I get reimbursed?
If you pay in full for medical services abroad, we will reimburse the amount upon submission of the required documents. You must notify us within 24 hours of the incident and submit the necessary documents within 1 month after returning to Georgia.
What documents do I need for reimbursement?
For reimbursement, you will need the following documents:
Original insurance policy
Original medical certificate indicating your full name, diagnosis, medical services received, and their cost
Official report of the incident issued by the local competent authority in case of an accident
Original or certified copies of invoices from doctors and clinics, receipts and prescriptions for medications
Passport
In which currency will I receive the reimbursement?
Reimbursement under travel insurance is made in the GEL equivalent of the currency you selected when purchasing the policy – USD or EUR.
Insured Risks
If you require emergency medical assistance while traveling, we will cover the costs. Medical services include:
Emergency outpatient care, such as food poisoning, trauma, fractures, allergies, burns, animal bites, ear pain, acute gastritis, and more.
Treatment in intensive care, which covers urgent medical assistance in a resuscitation or intensive care unit due to acute health deterioration.
Emergency dental care, which includes severe tooth pain, extraction, and local anesthesia.
Travel insurance can be purchased either for Europe only or for worldwide coverage. When buying the policy, you choose whether your trip is within Europe or if you want coverage for the entire world.
Europe includes all countries geographically part of Europe, including the United Kingdom, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan.
Worldwide coverage includes Europe and all countries not listed under Europe.
Depending on the geographic area you select for your trip, you must also choose the corresponding policy currency: EUR for Europe, USD for worldwide. Loss calculation and reimbursement will be made in GEL equivalent of the chosen currency.

Alternatively, you can contact the JPIA hotline at +995 32 250 5111, and our operator will handle all matters related to medical assistance.
Does the baggage insurance include a deductible?
Yes, it applies – in case of baggage damage, a deductible of 25 USD/EUR will be applied. In case of loss, a deductible of 25 USD/EUR per kilogram will be applied.
Does the travel policy include a deductible?
Travel insurance includes a deductible of 80 or 150 USD/EUR, which you select when purchasing the policy. The deductible will be deducted from the reimbursable amount.
Can I purchase a policy without a deductible?
It is only possible to purchase a travel insurance policy with a deductible.
When does the policy become effective?
A single-trip travel insurance policy becomes effective at 00:00 on the specified start date and is activated upon crossing the border. For example, if the policy indicates January 1 as the start date, the policy comes into effect at midnight on January 1 and activates once you cross the border. The insurance remains valid until the end of the travel period specified in the policy.
For a multi-trip travel insurance policy, the policy becomes effective at 00:00 on the specified start date and remains valid for 1 year.
Will the costs of services received during extra days of the trip be reimbursed?
If you extend your travel days while receiving medical services, expenses incurred during the additional days will not be reimbursed.
