WHICH SERVICES ARE COVERED?
Personal Doctor/Pediatrician
As soon as your insurance is active, you can choose a primary doctor or pediatrician at our provider clinics. Children can be insured with a Medi policy from age 1. Your primary doctor/pediatrician will get to know your medical history, monitor your health, provide recommendations and necessary referrals, assist with accessing outpatient services, track potential risks for various conditions, and guide you with the information and referrals you need for ambulatory care.

If you already have a primary doctor, you can schedule your visits online or via the MyGpi app, or contact our hotline at (+995 032) 2 505 111.
Pregnancy/Childbirth
With GPI Exclusive, pregnancy-related tests and screenings are conducted only at partner clinics, while childbirth can take place at any clinic.
Please note that this coverage becomes available only 25 months after purchasing the insurance.
No prior documents or guarantee letters are required for childbirth coverage—all necessary formalities are handled directly by the maternity clinic, even if it is not a GPI partner.
If you receive services at a partner clinic, you pay only the co-payment. If you use a non-partner clinic, you pay the full cost upfront and then receive reimbursement online.
Hospitalization
With GPI Exclusive, both planned and emergency surgeries are covered.Emergency hospitalization is financed immediately upon the insurance becoming active, while planned surgeries are subject to a 12-month waiting period, meaning coverage for planned surgeries is available starting from the 13th month after the policy takes effect.
This service includes medical procedures that require an overnight stay in a clinic.
Emergency hospitalization – coverage applies at both partner and non-partner clinics immediately upon the insurance becoming active. You must notify our support team about the case in advance. All insurance procedures between us and the clinic are handled without your involvement, and you only pay your co-payment at the clinic.
Planned hospitalization – please note the 12-month waiting period, meaning coverage becomes available from the 13th consecutive month after purchasing the policy.
Receiving these services with us requires prior arrangement:
You must request a Guarantee Letter, which confirms that your treatment is covered and is sent to the clinic where you plan to undergo surgery. You can request the Guarantee Letter online on the link. The request requires Form 100 and a surgery cost estimate. You will receive a response within up to 3 business days. The Guarantee Letter is valid for 1 month, during which you can schedule your surgery.
At provider hospital clinics, we will send the Guarantee Letter directly, and you will only pay your co-payment at the clinic. At non-provider clinics, based on policy terms and prior approval (a Guarantee Letter is still required), you must pay the full amount upfront and then request online reimbursement.
Outpatient Services
With GPI Exclusive, both emergency and planned outpatient services are covered up to 100% immediately upon the insurance becoming active, at both partner and non-partner clinics.
Emergency outpatient care refers to treatment required due to an accident or sudden deterioration of health that does not require an extended hospital stay. Examples include burns, fractures, minor injuries, poisoning, and similar cases.
Planned outpatient care does not require immediate medical intervention.
Both types of services are financed under different limits and coverage percentages with GPI Exclusive, and service is provided with different kind of schemes.
Preventive Examinations
Insurance fully financed screening and preventive tests related to your gender and age. Your personal doctor will help you to plan them.
Dentistry
With GPI Exclusive, planned and emergency dental services are covered up to 100%.
Planned dental services include treatments such as: dentist consultations, teeth cleaning, anesthesia, fillings, removal of dental tartar and plaque, and scheduled surgical procedures.
Emergency dental services include tooth extraction or pain relief (anesthesia) and are covered at any clinic.
The policy also provides discounts at partner clinics for services such as braces, implants, prosthetics, orthodontic, and orthopedic treatments.
Planned dental services are available only at partner dental clinics — no prior approval is needed, simply schedule a visit and pay only your portion.
Emergency dental services can also be received at non-partner clinics – pay the full amount upfront and then receive reimbursement online.
Please note that for coverage, a pre-treatment X-ray (dental radiograph) must be presented.
Medication
With GPI Exclusive, therapeutic and preventive medications are covered up to 90%.
You can purchase medications prescribed by a specialist without a referral from your personal doctor at partner pharmacies (PSP, Aversi, Pharmadepo). In this case, you pay the amount upfront and receive reimbursement online via the MyGPI app or your personal account at MYGPI.GE.
If the medication is prescribed at a privileged partner clinic, you can request it online and purchase it at the pharmacy with co-financing. You can also get reimbursement for any medication prescribed by any doctor, even if you don’t have a referral from your personal doctor. In this case, you pay the full amount at the pharmacy and then receive reimbursement online.
For reimbursement, you will need Form 100 and the payment receipt.
International Medical Consultation
An innovative telemedicine service that enables GPI insured clients to receive an independent medical assessment of their health condition and treatment plan from leading European and global specialists. The service can be used up to three times per year, and the process is simple and fully online.
You upload your medical concerns and/or documentation (in Georgian) to the online portal and receive a response within 10 business days. All translations of medical documents, test results, and examination reports are handled by Diagnose.me and are completely free of charge. Personal support is available via online chat or phone in Georgian or any preferred language.
Second Medical Opinion
Available exclusively for GPI insured clients as an add-on service, the International Medical Board offers diagnosis verification at the world’s leading clinics.
This service allows patients to receive an alternative medical opinion from top specialists at leading global clinics to confirm or reassess a diagnosis or treatment approach. The service is delivered through MediGuide International, a global network that supports international medical boards and helps patients access optimal medical decisions in over 150 countries worldwide.
In Georgia, MediGuide is represented by Curatio Clinic, which, in cases of oncological diagnoses, ensures diagnosis confirmation or clarification, selection of the most effective treatment plan, and preparation of all necessary medical recommendation

How can I get coverage for dental services?
Dental services are covered under all GPI Exclusive packages. To receive the service, you do not need a referral from your personal physician – simply contact your preferred provider dental clinic, schedule an appointment, present your insurance card at the clinic, and receive the covered service.
Can a get dental services in non provider clinics?
With GPI Exclusive planned dental care is not financed in non provider clinics. Only urgent dental care is financed in non provider clinics.
Is Pregnancy/Chldbirth covered with GPI Exclusive?
After waiting period, 24 months has passed, services related to the pregnancy can be used in any clinic, without personal doctor’s constent. For clildbirth you don’t need a guarantee letter. Clinic, even non provider one, will organize insurance procedures with us.
Can I buy medication prescribed by the specialist without personal doctor's referral?
Yes, it’s possible. You can purchase the prescribed medication at a partner pharmacy network and then apply for reimbursement online by submitting the payment receipt, income order, and Form 100.
How do I choose a personal doctor/pediatrician?
You can choose your personal doctor in two ways:
Online, via the MyGPI app or the website mygpi.ge — after purchasing your policy, register, select your preferred clinic, and choose a physician.
By contacting our support team at 032 250 51 11 — our managers will help you select a suitable physician and schedule your first visit. After that, you will be able to book telephone consultations or in-person visits yourself through the MyGPI app or the mygpi.ge website.
Can I do consultation remotely with my personal doctor?
You can consult with your personal doctor remotely and you can plan this service online too, from your personal cabinet via Mygpi.ge or app MYGPI.

Which services are available remotely with GPI exclusive?
With GPI Exclusive you can access insurance services fully online and remotely through the website mygpi.ge or the MyGPI app. You can book appointments with doctors, request reimbursements, and submit referrals or guarantee letter requests.
How and at which clinics can I request a referral online?
You can ask for referral if you are getting outpatient services in our priviliged provider clinics. To visit s specialist, undergo tests or to buy medication you can referral online with an app MyGPI or a website mygpi.ge. Click the Request a Referral in the menu and follow instruction. Referral will show up on your insurance card in 20 minutes and you will only pay your share.
How do I ask financing for surgery online?
To request a gurantee letter, you’ll need calculation and form 100. Request can be made from an app MyGPI or a webstie Mygpi.ge. Register or login, find Health Field, where you will see the button `Requesting a guarantee letter”. Fill out the form, upload documents. You will get an answer in 3 working days.
How do ask online for financing a childbirth ?
If you plan to give birth at a non-provider clinic, you will pay the full amount at the clinic and then receive reimbursement online via the MyGPI app or the website MyGPI.ge using the link:

Where can I see my policy number and expiration date?
