- The company holds 17% of the corporate insurance market
- Corporate segment premiums reached GEL 124.7 million in 2025
Tbilisi, April 2026. GPI Holding has once again confirmed its standing as the dominant actor in Georgia’s corporate insurance market. 2025 data from the State Insurance Supervision Service of Georgia shows the company holding a 17% share of the corporate segment, with premiums written in this category alone amounting to GEL 124.7 million.
Across all lines of business, GPI Holding recorded total written premiums of GEL 256 million in 2025 — a figure that outpaces the prior year by 22%. In the same period, the company paid out GEL 156 million in claims — more than any other insurer operating in Georgia.
Paata Lomadze, Chief Executive Officer of GPI Holding, said: “2025 was a year of disciplined execution and meaningful progress across every dimension of our business. We defended our leadership across core segments while sustaining growth in both life and non-life insurance — a balance that reflects the resilience of our portfolio. It was also evident than in health insurance, where GPI Holding has long set the benchmark for innovation and customer-centricity. The numbers speak for themselves, but so does the quality of what we have built. Our partnership with the diagnose.me platform is a case in point — giving our policyholders direct access to European medical expertise, from diagnosis through to treatment planning, without leaving Georgia. That is not a marginal improvement; it is a fundamental enhancement to what insurance can mean for an individual.
In our corporate business, the launch of the Corpo brand marked a shift in how we position employee benefits. Georgian businesses are increasingly recognising that talent retention and workforce productivity are inseparable from employee well-being. Corpo is our answer — a flexible, comprehensive benefits platform built for the demands of the modern workplace.
In non-life insurance, where we recorded strong growth on the back of a fundamentally different value proposition. Through Voovly car care service platform, we have expanded the ecosystem to offer policyholders access to automotive expertise, technical servicing, and preferential market rates as a matter of course, not just when a claim arises.
Property insurance also deserves mention. 2025 was a challenging year for Georgian businesses, with natural disasters and fires causing widespread disruption. GPI Holding paid out GEL 20 million in property claims — a substantial commitment, and one that underscores our role not merely as an insurer, but as a trustworthy partner to the businesses that drive this economy.”
GPI Holding has insured Georgian businesses of all sizes for 24 years. Its services today reach more than 250,000 employed individuals across the country. With a 27% share of the commercial market and uninterrupted leadership over the past decade, the company’s position is not merely a function of scale — it is a reflection of sustained trust.
